This autobiographical novel follows a young woman's extraordinary journey to India in search of healing from multiple sclerosis.
Guided by a Tibetan medicine doctor, she not only embarks on a path of physical recovery but also encounters remarkable people who have defied the most hopeless diagnoses.
Immersed in the raw, mystical, and often shocking reality of India, she discovers a world where the word 'incurable' no longer holds power.
ABOUT BOOK
First and foremost, I am a mother of four.
Most of Beyond Borders was written in quiet moments — in the notes on my phone, during day and night feedings with my little ones.
I suppose I could tell you that I hold a degree in political science, that I founded several successful businesses...
But India turned my life inside out in such a way that now, I’m not even sure what truly matters — or what defines me as a person anymore.
Since my first journey to India in 2017, I have found myself spending most of my time in Southeast Asia.
Here, I found life, inspiration, strength — and who knows, perhaps one day, my Eastern adventures and my endless search for the unnamable will become an important part of the story I call my own.
